What do I do to get the software?
It's easy to purchase Microke:
- 1. Download Mickroke.exe to your PC from the download section of the Microke site at www.microke.com.
You can also download the Microke Manual. It is highly illistrated and explains the operations of the program step by step
- 2. After downloading the file microke.exe, run the program on the computer to which you want the Microke software to be registered. A registration code will appear which will enable you to register your copy of the program for your computer.
- 3. Go to the section Register Your Copy at the site www.Microke.com, fill in the form and use the code you recieved when you ran Microke.exe.

- 5. After we complete the processing of your payment, we will send you a password through e-mail that will enable you to activate your program on your PC.
Is it only (U.S.) $9.90 or $ 13.90?
Yes! Microke Standard costs (U.S.) $ 9.90 and Microke Platinum only costs (U.S.) $13.90. And you pay only once. The program is inexpensive because of our exclusive licensing. (licensed to each computer) If it were not for this we would have to charge the current price of the market. Generally the price for software like Microke is much more expensive because of losses created by the rising number of non-authorized copying. Because of our exclusive Licensing Terms you benefit and do not have to pay for the loss caused by others.

Registration
How to register for my copy?
Before registering your copy you must download Microke.exe. If you have done this already, click on Register Your Copy and provide the information requested.
We process your information and will provide you with a client Identification number. With this number you can proceed the payment and complete your purchase. You have the following choice for payment: Credit Card.
Can I download Microke to one computer and install it in another PC?
Yes! Let's suppose you have two PCs. PC1 at work with internet and PC2 at home.
You can download the mikcroke.exe file to PC1 and copy it to PC2.. Because each code is exclusive to each PC you must run the program on both PCs to acquire the client identification numbers for each PC. Write down the codes for each PC. So from PC1 you can access our site and register your information and code not only for PC1 (work) but also for PC2 (home).
After payment(s) has been made and we have processed it you will receive confirmation(s) by e-mail and also the password(s) to activate your program(s).
OIs it necessary to have internet on my computer in order to install the program?

Running the Program
How long does it take to get the password?
Generally the password is sent the same day after your payment. A delay is unusual
Attention: If it has been more than 24 hours since you have made your payment and have not received your password, please contact us by e-mail at support2@microke.com.
In this e-mail tell us the method of payment that you used.
How do I activate my copy?
After you have registered, and as soon as your payment clears, you will receive an e-mail with your client Identification and a valid password for your PC and further instructions.
May I activate it on another PC?
No. According to the Licensing Terms on our site, the license you receive for US$ 9.90 or US$ 13.90 is for use with one computer only. That means that the password you will receive will enable you to run the program only on the PC where the code was generated. That is why Microke is so inexpensive.
Offering a license for each computer is how we are able to charge such a low price. In this way, the legitimate user does not have to pay a high price to compensate for pirating of the software.
If I get a new PC, can I transfer the program to my new PC ?
As you may have noticed, the objective for passwords and identification is to avoid unauthorized copies of the program. If it were not for that, we would have to charge a higher price for the software, as some other companies do. According to the Licensing Terms disposed on our site, the registration becomes invalid if an substantial alteration is made to your computer. (e.g. changes in mainframe, mother board)
By licensing the software for (each) computer, we can charge a low price for the license for use. We believe that this distribution method is more democratic and fair since the legitimate user does not have to pay a high price in order to compensate for loss caused by illegal copies.

How it works
Can my computer run Microke software?
Microke does not need installation and it can be run on almost any PC because the requirements to run the program are low:
- Multimedia PC 586, Pentium or higher
- Windows 95 or higher
- Monitor 64k - colors (high color, 16 bits) or higher
- Microphone Optional (it is required only for scoring)
Microke requires little memory to store (about 420Kb) and it is easy to use.

What kind of files can I run on Microke?
Microke is compatible with KAR, MIDI and MK1 files. Microke Platinum is also compatible with ST3 files.
The advantage of (kar) files, besides better quality , is that more than 90% of these (kar) music files allow the program to score the singer. (kar) files are used internationally. The Microke Platinum Version is compatible with 100% of Karaoke files.

Do I have to be on-line to sing?
No, there are thousands of songs compatible with the Microke software. They can easily be downloaded to your PC. Most songs are around 40Kb each. Just to give you an idea of the size of the files, you can save about 35 songs on a floppy disc ( 1.44 Mb). You can obtain these music files freely through the internet.
Is Microke compatible with GoSing?
It is compatible with music from GoSing. Microke is a brand new program developed by Microke Ltda, full of features as you can see on the Features page of our site. If you are Cante user you can keep your files and enjoy a higher quality program - Microke.
